Where in the world is Alpine, Alabama?

Our wedding venue, Ridge Pointe, is located in Alpine, Alabama overlooking a 40 acre farm. This little town is right outside of historic Talladega and on Lake Logan Martin. It is approximately 45 minutes to an hour outside of Birmingham by both major highway and county roads.

How do I RSVP?

You can RSVP through this website! More information about how to submit your acceptances or regrets will be coming soon.

Where should I stay?

We want our guests to have several options for accommodations based on your preference for length of commute and housing style. We plan to offer blocks at a new hotel in Chelsea, AL (~40 min from venue) and a classic option in Birmingham, AL (~50 min from the venue). There are hotels available in neighboring Pell City, AL (~30 min from venue) as well! If you want to make it a lake weekend, we suggest booking an Air BnB on Lake LOGAN MARTIN. Approx 15-30 min from venue, houses are set on the lake and are perfect for grabbing some sun before and after the big day! Please check back in to the "travel" tab for accommodations over the next few months.

What should I wear?

We would love to see all of you get dressed up with us! Please wear formal attire. Men should wear a dark suit with a tie and ladies should wear full length dresses. Black tie optional.

Will the festivities be inside or outside?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held inside. Cocktail hour will take place just a few steps away from the ceremony and reception space on the patio. We know Alabama summers are warm, so we won't have you outside for long!

Is transportation to the venue arranged?

Due to the variety of accommodations, we are unable to provide transportation to and from the venue. If you plan to drive yourself, please drive responsibly. We recommend carpooling or driving in tandem if you are able!

What time should I arrive?

Our wedding will begin at 5:30pm (CST). We suggest you arrive by 5:00pm to ensure you have plenty of time to park and find a seat before the ceremony begins.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes! The venue has a large private parking lot adjacent to the main building where both ceremony and reception will be held. It is only a short walk to the building, but we will have golf cart shuttles going back and forth for those who need.

Can I bring a guest?

We tried to be as intentional as possible while creating our guest list. If you are able to bring a guest of your own, it will be noted on your invitation. We ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!

Are my children invited?

Unfortunately, we are not able to invite the children of all of our guests. Please pay close attention to your invitation - if your little ones are included in the invitation or it says "The __ Family" , they are welcome to join us! This only pertains to children who are part of the wedding and those who belong to families traveling from across the country to join us. If your children are not included in your invitation, we ask you kindly to treat this as a kid-free evening and arrange a baby sitter. We have not included them in our final counts and will not have a seat for them. Thank you so much for understanding!

What time will the reception end?

The party is never officially over, but the newlyweds will exit at 10:00pm.
